Natural Mercury Detox

Natural Mercury Detox

The best detox follows in line with the body's natural detox pathways. At my new site Natural Mercury Detox not only have I outlined what works to detox mercury, but it also applies to liver cleansing or a holistic detox for any toxins.

Any health cleanse has to address the liver and Phase I and Phase II liver detoxification if one wants to be successful at a total body cleanse.

People who have had dental amalgams, vaccines or live in or close to a city probably have mercury to remove from their body and just using a liver cleansing diet is not enough...you have to follow a properly planned protocol to achieve a natural body detox.

    Hello

I heard that a diet high in fats will detox mercury, that is what this lady says for the past 5 years

"Good" fats naturally cleanse the entire body, and help get rid of all heavy metals. Eric Davis points out in his article Health Hazards of Mercury: "That is because neurotoxins are transported throughout the body attached to protein components of lipoproteins, and therefore require cholesterol for their transport and elimination. A rise in cholesterol levels and triglycerides in response to neurotoxins protects by preventing permanent attachment of the neurotoxin to the nerve and brain cells. Symptoms of neurotoxicity are most likely to occur when the cholesterol is lowered suddenly or when the affected patient goes on a low-fat, low-cholesterol, low-protein diet."

That is also the reason cholesterol levels increase when a person is detoxifying.

Davis goes on to say: "In a human trial, a high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet was compared to a low-protein, high-carbohydrate diet. The researchers found greater clearance of toxins with the high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet and diminished clearance when the ratio was reversed. To utilise the protein correctly, the fat on the "lamb" needs to be eaten. The use of additional butter or lard in cooking is of paramount importance. By having adequate fat, bile production is stimulated, absorption of minerals increased and the excretion of mercury facilitated as long as constipation is avoided." Note: Constipation is avoided by consuming 80% good fat to 20% protein (according to calories).

Davis also writes: "The proteins in the diet must be animal proteins, providing a complete specturm of amino acids. A study of Asian vegetarians with incomplete amino acid intake showed reduced clearing of xenobiotics. Low levels of hydrochloric acid have an adverse impact on the availability of dietary amino acids, even in a higher protein diet, so stimulating the pancreas using lacto-fermented foods is crucial."

The bottom line is that a diet high in "good" fats, moderate protein, and low-carbs, plus necessary supplements, are all your body needs to get rid of heavy metals.

  2. Hi Ben...Well you were doing fine until the last line. This whole dietary plan is definitely great for detox, of any xenobiotic actually. One problem...this works IF the person's detox pathways are functioning well.

Unfortunately, toxins like mercury really compromise these pathways and that is why using the detox plan I recommend at my site www.naturalmercurydetox.com is necessary for those who are unwell.

In a perfect world, what you suggest is great, but when a person's biochemistry is dysfunctional, we have to change that by up-regulating certain pathways to make that happen. It all has to be done in a slow and gentle manner, to the patient's tolerance and combining that with the diet you mentioned usually does the trick.

Thank you for your insightful post.
    Cheers,
    Dr. Deb

Dr Deb, I am beginning to think 2 teaspoons of good organic turmeric a day is as good as anything to open detox pathways, lower inflammation, help with digestive problems, kill virals, increase circulation.

Question I am taking 3 teaspoons of magnesium citrate and am still constipated, very small. When do a water enema, then no problem..... thanks

  4. Hi Ben: Again..the tumeric is a very healthy addition, but 2 full tsp per day is over the top. This is something that is normally in small amounts in the diet..a good item, but not usually ingested at this dose.

Detox REALLY depends on the sulphur elements in things like gluatathione, garlic, onions, etc. and that is why I use the GSH Complex so much.

One herb/spice just will NOT open all the detox pathways..it's a player in this, sure, but not a major one.

As far as bowel function..go back to the liver. I use IANC-Lega which is a herbal combination to flush the liver and by doing that really normalizes bowel function.
